Holy Run on Sentance, Batman

I have been noticing quite a few Holy run on sentences lately. For example, Ephesians 1:1-21, all one sentence. I had to read it three times to understand the sentence and then again to catch the meaning. Of course, I am not a English/Greek/Hebrew major, so please feel free to let me know if I am wrong and it is just a really long sentence.
